Levens Hall

On the 25th June we had a whole school trip to Levens Hall. It is an Elizabethan historic house famous for its beautiful gardens and topiary. Each class had a talk by the head gardener Chris, who told us all there was to know about topiary, the orchard, vegetable growing, plants, trees and bees around the beautiful gardens.

We all had lunch together on the lawn followed by a play on the grass. It was such fabulous weather and so hot. Some of us enjoyed being cooled down by the sprinklers!
