Continuing with our Roman learning context, the whole school walked along a section of Hadrian’s Wall. We travelled by bus to Birdoswald, walked along the wall and fort until we got to Gilsland, where we had a picnic and then enjoyed the lunch break on the playground with the children at Gilsland School. We then walked back to Birdoswald.
