On 30th September we took selected year 5 & 6 pupils to the netball tournament held at William Howard School
On Saturday 3rd October Irthington Village School took two teams to the 6-a-side football tournament which was held at William Howard School.
On Friday 25th September the school held a Macmillan Coffee Afternoon.
Well done to Simon Bulmer, Simon Hansel, Andrew Roddam & James Kerr on completing the Coast to Coast Bike Ride which started on 18th September.
This week in Class 2 we have been designing fruit kebabs and writing instructions on how to make them.

Class 3 enjoyed their picnic. They had been busy baking and were ready to eat it all.
On Friday 3rd July Class 1 and Year 2 went to the beach at Rockcliffe. The sun shone all day and was finished off with an ice cream or lolly.
‘Look at all our star bakers! Using as many Fairtrade products as possible, our young competitors baked a range of delicious cakes and biscuits. The winners were Piper, Francesca and Mollie. Congratulations to all. The judges were very impressed!’
Last Thursday Mrs Sweetman, Mrs Harrison and 8 children who entered the Fairtrade T-shirt competition took part in a walk along a section of the Cumbrian Fairtrade Way, from Carlisle to Dalston with 4 other schools.
